A few years ago, I was introduced to an online game to help relieve some of the stress.  Over time playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault online, I got sick and tired of playing on servers that ran rampant with players cheating, hacking, or just folks taking the enjoyment out of game for the rest.  Most servers had little or no administrator available to deal with these individuals...or simply didn't care as long as the server got traffic.  So I decided to get my own gaming server.  Over the years, it has maintained a top 10 ranking for the world for this game type and I made some friends.  The server attracted many individuals that would come back again and again (called Regulars) and other very cool people.

 

Eventually, I expanded my site to include a section for the game and the community that developed around it. 

 

The Chico's Playground server is paid for and run by Chico Hash Smoker, formerly known as [33rd]Cpt.Chico|RET| of the 33rd clan. The server is monitored and patrolled. The logs are reviewed and a ban may be initiated after the fact based on the analysis. There are 4-5 individuals with admin rights to the server that can kick and ban individuals for violations of any of the rules listed in the Server Rules section. Some of the individuals with admin rights use AutoKick while the main admin (Chico) runs Counter Intelligence 24/7.

 

The server is tailored to be PG-13...or as close as I can get to that.  When setting up the server, I decided to make sure to really try my best to set it where adults (and kids) can play in a clean and safe environment with as little idiots as possible.  After running the server for close to 4 years now...the banned list is well over a couple of thousand individuals banned for various reasons.  All bans have supporting documentation or game videos.
